Sustainably and intuitively created for the free-spirited, the collections are grounded in a timeless process of artisanal craftsmanship and slow design. Meaning “aspiration” in ancient Arabic, MARAM aspires to create a world where holistic living and quality design can coexist. The MARAM universe is a cultural mirror, reflecting back a parallel reality of an existence rooted in unified harmony and peace. One that we can collectively aspire towards. Operating from a core belief that fashion can be used as a tool to connect deeper with ourselves and the world around us.

With roots between the east and west, MARAM is a mutli-cultural hybrid, belonging everywhere and no where at the same time. It serves as an inclusive landscape for free-spirited souls and big
dreamers. The MARAM world is rooted in ideas over identity, building a global community of multi-faceted humans who embrace their own uniqueness over passing trends.
MARAM aims to connect and inspire through immersive, multi-sensory fashion shows and retail experiences. A luxurious meeting of two worlds: the material and the spiritual, embedding a holistic worldview of conscious living into high fashion.
ROOTS
LIFEPATH
MARAM was founded by designer and creative director Maram Aboul Enein in Montreal, 2014. Graduating with a BFA in fashion design from the prestigious Parsons Paris, Maram has garnered 15 years of industry experience as a designer between Paris and New York. Working under some of the most renowned fashion houses such as Balmain, Oscar De La Renta and Zac Pose before launching her eponymous label in 2014.
Born and raised in Cairo (Egypt) , Maram was deeply influenced by the abundance of ancient culture and wisdom that surrounded her. Cairo’s old soul carries immense sacred and universal knowledge, a mysterious presence that can be felt through Maram’s body of work.
Spending the remaining of her childhood in Sinai amongst it’s majestic mountains, the bedouin culture is one of Maram’s most prominent core influences. Their free-spirited nature and deep respect and connection to nature is deeply embedded in Maram’s worldview and creative vision.
At seventeen, Maram moved to Paris, where she found her creative voice and identity as a designer. Later moving to New York and Montreal where she founded the brand. Living and working between Paris, New York and Montreal enriched her work with a multi-cultural world view and open mindedness.
Maram believes her life purpose is to use her creative gift for the higher good, using fashion as a tool for enlightenment, thought-provoking ideas and adding beauty to the world.
